Kristina Scott, Assistant Principal

Welcome to Constellation Schools: Old Brooklyn Community Middle (OBCM). As part of the Constellation Schools Consortium, OBCM strives to provide an excellent education for our students built on a foundation of Character Education. We believe that each and every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe and nurturing environment with staff that can help them to achieve personal success.

Our middle school program has a strong focus on academic achievement. Teachers provide data driven instruction which enables them to ensure that the students are mastering the essential skills and concepts. Individualized or small group instruction is provided to students to help enhance instruction.

As a compliment to our focus on academics, OBCM students have the opportunity to participate in student leadership activities to help them grow into strong citizens of their community. Community Clean Up Days, Food and Clothing Drives, and Letter Writing Campaigns are just a few of the ways that our students have reached out to those in need.

Constellation Schools: Old Brooklyn Community Middle serves students in grades 5-8. It shares a campus with Old Brooklyn Community Elementary which serves grades K-4. We work closely together to educate our students in a cooperative and respectful environment with strong parental support and participation. We truly believe that we truly are “The Right Choice for Parents and a Real Chance for Children” of the Old Brooklyn community.
